Red Anchor & Co. is an independently-owned real estate appraisal company serving the East Tennessee Market. We offer commercial real estate appraisals with experienced professionalism that result in credible, timely, and reliable responses to meet the needs of our clients. We strive to care for our clients, while providing an objective, thoroughly researched opinion to value.

David Justin Stanley, MAI
PRINCIPAL
David Justin Stanley has been in real estate appraising since 2005. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Logistics and Transportation from the University of Tennessee. He is licensed as a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Tennessee and holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute. David loves to think through, research and solve real estate problems.
While at work, music and large quantities of coffee are not far away. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, hiking, and fly-fishing in the Smoky Mountains. David has been married to his wife, Emilee, for over 20 years and they have three children.

It’s the science of market interactions. You must know buyers, sellers, investors, bankers, and how people interact with real estate. You never arrive; you are always a student of the market. Think about it…the desires of humans are in constant flux, directly affecting the values of real estate. Market value is a combination of math, science, methodologies, and some art. It is a social science that is a judgment for what is the most appropriate and reasonable value for a specific property type. Through the appraisal process, appraisal standards, and the collection and analysis of pertinent data, the market value can be estimated.
